Ebay is in the talks to buy Skype for somewhere between $2 to $3 billion. So Google has Gmail, Gtalk, Google Country & City Maps, Desktop search engines, and the library scans.

Ebay is in talks with Skype.

Yahoo owns Flickr.

Amazon…who owns that/what else does Amazon own?

It suddenly went from internet percieved mom&pop style sites like flickr and google and skype and ebay into these huge monsters of companies bringing up so much capital and buying everything in sight. What’s next and is this even good for the consumer? I’m starting to wonder if the economic model for internet business isn’t all that different at all from the real world.
