I love Washington, D.C. I was raised in that town and I love the history, the architecture, the sights and the noble things that it stands for. I also love seeing the city on TV shows and movies. While I knew that E-Ring takes place in DC & the Pentagon, I’m very pleased to see that Bones also is in DC. The show is…eh. The main woman character is annoying, and I keep expecting David Boreanaz to turn into a vampire and kill a random demon, I think I’ll keep watching the show just to see scenes of the Capitol Building, the White House and the Jefferson Memorial.
Actually, I’ll be honest. My favorite parts of having DC in the show is that I can point out all the mistakes they make. (For some reason driving around the capitol building over and over; placing a cemetary where the FDR Memorial is…)

edit. Just finished watching the show…I think it’s a bit more than just “eh”. It’s a pretty bad show and the only things I like about it are Angel and the city where it takes place. There’s no chemistry between the Bones girl and Angel. In fact, I reallly dislike her and she did like 30 illegal things in one episode.
