I’m Old.

It finally happened to me. I remember first signing online under the BBS system and surfing the proverbial web via Archie and Veronica systems. This, by the way, was sometime between ‘92 and ‘93-ish. Seriously, this is before AOL. Honestly, this is kinda before graphics were prevalent. I also remember playing those MUD games which hooked me up to internet-speak at a really really young age. I’d dare say that before a lot of people knew what LOL, BRB, and GG meant, I was already using them around the MUD worlds.

Well today I was reading some forum and I read the term “LYLAS” and had absolutely no idea what that meant. I had to google it up to find the meaning! That’s what grown ups do! That’s not what cool, hip, trendy twenty-somethings do! We should intrinsically know what LYLAS means! But I didn’t and now I’m going to wallow in my misery by listening to Michael Jackson’s ‘thriller’.
