Sad Sad news to report. My lovely iPod—Euterpe—seems to be finally dying out after about 2 or so years of happy listening.
It seems as if all of the sudden, the battery just isn’t up to the power it once had. Once I get back to the US, I’ll probably have to start looking for a replacement mp3 player. I really really love the 3rd Generation iPod because it’s all white, sleek and uses firewire as well as USB.
The newer generation of iPods have a better battery life, color screens and other cool bells and whistles…they work off of USB. So, in short, if anyone knows of a player that can hold about 20-30 Gigs, has an excellently long battery life, has a good crisp screen, looks cool, and uses Firewire…please please please let me know.
