A Christmas Carol just came on (Sufjan Stevens’ “Only At Christmas Time” (which, by the way, is a beautiful song)) and it made me extremely happy and nostalgic and daydreamy all at once.
A) What are your thoughts on listening to christmas music before christmas season? I’ve been a bit thrown off kilter since living in China where they’d play christmas tunes all throughout the year in totally inappropriate situations (the red light districts, for example)
B) I don’t think I have a B, but I really like this song and it’s happy and sweet and I miss feeling happy and sweet. I never shared this song with Ali because I hadn’t ever really listened to it until now…
