Slowly but surely the house fills up once again. Silence and solitude is nice…company can be nicer. And Quis is def. a happier camper than she was last week.

Side note. Back in May I took a trip up to Vermont and New Hampshire and I was a bit confused by the overwhelming presence of Dunkin’ Donuts stores everywhere I looked. I have no leg to stand on because in DC we have Starbucks, Caribou Coffee and bars sometimes across the street from one another. But at the same time, the concept of having a state filled to the brim with Dunkin’ Donuts stores seems completely alien to me. WTF? Do you guys really like it that much?
What are the big things in your towns/cities? Krispy Kreme is apparently big in Louisiana. White Castle is totally foreign to me here in DC/MD/VA. But once you get to NJ and PA, it’s huge. What are the big things where you’re from?
