I have said it before, and I’ll totally stress it again. I’m really glad that there was no such thing such as youtube, blogs, or myspace when I was in high school. Otherwise I totally would’ve been this kid.

I think it was 9th grade when a friend and I sang Les Mis and taped it (yes, you heard right…a cassette tape) on his karaoke machine. Seriously. Thank god there was no such thing as youtube in the ’90s because it wouldn’t have been this awesome

Again, Barney totally kicks my ass as Javert. Granted, I hadn’t hit puberty yet and my voice really wasn’t all that different from a 12 year-old girl. In any case, I feel kinda terrible for the girl singing along with high school musical…and the worst part is that it isn’t like the Star Wars Kid in which case he at least had the tape leak by accident. No, this girl purposely uploaded herself singing to youtube. I feel partially terrible, but also there’s just a huge sense of sock. Why, good god WHY would anyone do this?
