For the first day of the year, it seems like a good start. So far so good, I suppose.
I finished The Monk and the Riddle this morning and was surprised to find some lessons in there that I’ve been discovering on my own. Surprising only because it’s odd to have a realization that one has been approaching for months now and has only recently found a way to articulate, and then find it articulated in a gift that’s all of a week old. The truth of the matter is, though, that without the past weeks and months, the book would be appreciated and read, but that final connection would have been absent. In any case, it’s a solid book, and I do recommend it to the rest of the world.
