5) Annie – Always Too Late
I’ll be the first to say that this is totally not my type of music. I don’t think it’s hugely original, her vocals aren’t absolutely kick-ass and I think she’s toooootally over-hyped…that being said, this song rocks. :)
4) Interpol – Evil
Because they are a great band and this song is just too good. Lyrics make no sense, but God is that a hypnotic bass line. “Hey who’s on trial?”
3) The Killers – All The Things I’ve Done
Catchy, Poppy, Rockish…I can’t get enough of this band. New video to this song is coming out soon. Vegas has done herself proud.
2) Manu Chao – Bongo Bong
He sings in French, Spanish and English…AND he sings about a monkey…Listen and feel like elitest Euro-trash!
1) Shakira (feat Alejandro Sanz) – Tortura
While we’re on an international streak, let’s listen and dance to this great Colombian. I’ve had a pretty huge crush on Shakira since her first album back in the late 90’s…so yeah. Having a music video with her dressed in what seems to be oil/chocolate and gyrating her hips is a bit much so I’m content in just listening to the song.
