In statutory law, seduction is commonly understood as:
Illicit sexual intercourse obtained by a man with a woman whom he has induced to surrender her chastity by a promise of marriage, or some other seductive art.
Awesome. I love that back in the day one could be convicted for this. I’m assuming that the sentence was to follow through with the promise. Any one have an answer on this?
