Am downing as much vitamin C, B, and D as I can right now because I feel like I’ve just been sucker-punched by the flu. Somewhere between yesterday’s twin runs and today’s paper writing extravaganza, I picked up the beginning of what promises to be a nasty, nasty cold. While the timing may not be as horrible as, say, finals fortnight, but what with classes beginning on Tuesday and a paper that needs finishing tomorrow, I’m a little upset nevertheless.

Yesterday’s twin runs resulted in a lot of sore muscles today but I got to take some pictures the second time around of the gorgeous area that makes up my running path. It’s no C&O canal and it’s only three miles, but it’s perfect for the time being while I build up as a runner again. The beginning of the trial is a bit brutal because it feels like it is one big hill. I don’t know if it’s a good thing to begin every run with apprehension, but I look forward to the day that I can run through the entire thing without a break and without losing too much breath.

Today was a quiet day spent working on the law review write-on project. It’s a bit weird to write because it feels like a glorified book report, but with big words and legal concepts such as the ‘coming and going rule’. With yesterday’s runs and today’s paper writing outside, my complexion has gone from “no way is he latino, he’s so pale” to a respectable “ok, I sortof see it”.

Ok, bedtime.
