I haven’t been sleeping well recently. Ever since the death flu of death and pain and destruction™ where I had to self-medicate myself into a regular sleep schedule so I’d be able to study during the day, I’ve been having a prolonged bout of insomnia. The past four days have been especially brutal though. I figured if I upped my running to two hours a day, I’d be tired enough to be asleep by 11pm but here I am at 3am and sleep isn’t anywhere in sight.

I used to be asleep before my head even hit the pillow. One would think I’m exaggerating, but it’s not by much. I’d be asleep seconds after laying down. It was beautiful.

A friend strongly recommended that I watch the FX show, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Due to the aforementioned insomnia, I’ve had a good amount of time on my hands, so I started watching it on the lovely hulu. In a nutshell, it’s a series of adventures that four friends who all own a bar in South Philly. It’s hilarious, and it’s the first TV show in a while that had me laughing so hard that I had to wipe tears away from my eyes. It’s consistently funny, ridiculous, mean and jerky, but totally entertaining. The first episode can be found below and the rest are over here thanks to hulu.
