Been spending the past day or so listening to Coldplay’s new album “X&Y” and I must say that I’m impressed. The album as a whole sounds a lot more mature than their previous works and “Swallowed By the Sea” is a great song. It sort of serves as a microcosm of the sort of band Coldplay is striving for. Earnest, emotional, talented, passionate and insightful.

And opened up my eyes
Made me realize
What I could not see
Go listen and enjoy.
And I could write a song
