Now the fact that the article talks about the top 100 cities in Mainland China and then goes on to list 10 and makes no reference to the other 90 sortof confuses me. But this is China and maybe when they say top 100, they’re just screwing with you.

Besides how many cities are there in China in the first place? While the US is smaller in terms of population, how many cities do we really have anyway? What constitutes a city? And how come they limit it to mainland cities? Besides Hong Kong, Taipei (shut-up, Watson), and Macao…um, does China have 97 other Commercial citiy islands that we don’t know about?

Smarter minds may know, and more diligent people would look up the answers to these questions, but I’m still suffering from jet lag, so I’m going to watch xXx: State of the Union and watch things blow up.

edit:

Oh, the point of the post was to let you know that the lovely lovely scenic city of Nanjing made the top 10…or top 100…(or top 200 if you count their 100 non-mainland cities). All I know is that I’ve been back in Nanjing for two days now and already I’ve seen a guy boil a chicken, a guy gut a fish, a dead cat outside my apartment, and a kid go #2 on the streets. If that doesn’t encourage investors to just throw money at the city, I don’t know what does.
